Did you know that 9 out of every 1,000 babies born have a Congenital Heart defect? I was one of those 9. I was born on July 21, 1994 at 7:32 at night by 7:34 they knew something was wrong. I had a Congenital Heart Defect that needed Open Heart Surgery to fix. I had my surgery on August 1, 1994 my Mom and Dad were told I might not make it. But, here I am. I am fighting heart disease and stroke by participating in the American Heart Association’s Start! Heart Walk. Why do I do this each year? When you hear Cardiac lilfe support or Code Blue its the Heart Association that developed the course that saved me not once but 3 times. Please support this cause by making a donation that will help provide research and education to stop our No. 1 and No. 3 killers. Thank you in advance for your support!
